IVECO BUS presented two eFLEXY electric minibuses at FIAA Madrid on 22 September 2026. The passenger versions share a compact platform, but the manufacturer emphasises different purposes: Line for shuttle and interurban work, City for urban service. The eFLEXY Line’s large side windows and glazed tailgate are the clearest glass-related details stated in the launch material.
What IVECO confirmed
The eFLEXY Line was introduced as a vehicle for shuttle, local-line and interurban work, while eFLEXY City is aimed at compact urban transport. IVECO said the Line layout can accommodate up to 13 passengers plus the driver, and that the City version can carry up to 17 passengers depending on configuration.
IVECO describes both versions as part of an electric urban-transport range. The official announcement specifies passenger capacities and operating roles; it does not provide replacement-glass part numbers or confirm interchangeability between the City and Line bodies.
The relevance of the side windows
IVECO’s 22 September press release expressly highlights the large side windows and glazed tailgate on the eFLEXY Line. The tailgate is therefore a product feature worth distinguishing in future parts records; its glass construction and replacement method have not been published in the cited announcement.

Two versions, with no published glass compatibility table
The City and Line share a commercial name but have different passenger layouts and access requirements. That makes it important not to treat the Line’s published glazed-tailgate feature as a specification of every City configuration. Manufacturer drawings or verified OE references will be needed before any side or rear pane is described as common to both.
What happens next
IVECO said first deliveries of the eFLEXY range were scheduled for the first quarter of 2027. For the glazing market, the immediate milestone is therefore not an assumed supply problem but the availability of reliable service and spare-part information as deliveries approach.
